A fantastic day out with various routes of 6, 17 or 23 miles so you are sure to find
something to suit for every member of the family!
There will be a registration fee of £10 per adult and £5.00 per child and participants
are encouraged to register before the event. We ask that all participants try to aim to
raise £50 in sponsorship. To register for this event please contact the midlands team
on 01922 614500 or e-mail midlands@diabetes.org.uk
On the Day
Registration will open from 10:00am and close at 11:00am. Cyclists are invited to
set off at their own pace during these times. The registration desk will close at 4:00pm
and we ask all participants to return to the registration desk before this time to check
back in and receive their goody bags.
Route
There are a variety of routes to choose from:
• 23 mile route which loops the whole site including the peninsula
• 17 mile route which loops the whole site excluding the peninsula
• 6 mile route from Normanton car park to the Tourist Information Centre
If you would like to hire a bikes you will need to book this well in advance of the
day as there will be limited availability. Please call the cycle hire shop directly on 01780 720 888.
