Rutland Times takes down Blog Website

The Rutland Times is clearly intimidated by local Rutland Bloggers

It set up a blog titled "Rutland Life" it did not take long to track an ip link to the paper.

The Rutland Times attempted to fool the public into believing the blog was run by a local
resident.

One of its early posts was a bitter attack against local bloggers, suggesting the only proper place
for readers to obtain local news was the Rutland Times and not local bloggers.

The second post copied one of mine, so I must be doing something right?

The Rutland Times has also closed the related Twitter account.

I spoke to Aaron Frank at Loughborough Magistrates Court yesterday about the blog. He is reporter for the paper.

I asked who had authorised the site an attack on bloggers? he responded with only "the powers to be"

The Rutland Times increased its cover price today and expects to loose further readers.

After previously meeting a deputy editor at Stamford, I could not help thinking this is the sort of person I would avoid if I saw him staggering from a pub or a football match.

My message to the Rutland Times if you want to receive more hits than local bloggers then publish some
real news and not just the pages and pages of garbage you are fed from local councils.
