Just a few weeks since Oakham Town Council paid thousands for major repairs
to the skatepark another of the main park has been closed today awaiting repairs.
Another part has been deemed unrepairable and removed this afternoon.
Vandalism was suggested, I pass this park almost every day it is well used.
I rarely see a skateboard, I often see the bikes and scooters, the small wheels
on the scooters cause a huge amount of the damage.
Oakham Mayor Cllr Adam Lowe is very much aware the school summer holiday's are approaching
and he says "all is being done to get the skatepark repaired as soon as possible"
