Rutland's Vulnerable People have to be considered as having 'substantial' needs
to gain support now and a new increased charging policy's also been agreed.
A range of changes to Adult social care in Rutland have been approved by the
county council.
One of the major differences is to eligibility criteria now people have
to be considered as having 'substantial' needs to gain support meaning
around 100 people will have care cut off.
A new increased charging policy's also been agreed.
The Rutland County Councils Tories say it's about future proofing the system and
will help them cope with increasing demand now and in decades to come.
The cabinet minutes also refer to generating more income.
Its rather sad to think the elderly and disabled here in Rutland are a means to
generate income for our caring Rutland Tories.
