This evening three councillors recommended 2 people to fill two vacant seats.
After 4 people applied not very democratic.
Two candidates were not considered by the full council.
One of those being me.
It is no surprise a person who stood in the August by-election has been co-opted.
Oakham Town Council broke every rule in the book when they wrote inviting her
to be considered for co-option.
Saying that I believe she will be a good honest councillor.
She is a tough cookie. A young mum, School Teacher and a qualified solicitor
so not as thick as some of the others who claim to serve our community.
The new councillors are Leanne Martin of Mallard Court and Simon Dyer of Malvern Walk
