The above story in the Metro reminded me of the time in 2012 when I was arrested by Leicestershire Police
for asking people to spot the difference between a nice old cow and our good then Mayor Cllr Lucas
Mayor of Stockerston Daisy & Mayor of Oakham Joyce Missus Lucas spot the difference
Mayor of Stockerston Daisy & Mayor of Oakham Joyce Missus Lucas
Can you spot the difference?
Daisy the Cow does not need manners so when she turns her back on people in public she is not being rude.
A Mayor is expected to have manners and turning her back in public is rude... I can only imagine what the lady in pink was thinking as the Mayor either did this or hid behind her husband when I looked her way.
She once told me "I don't like you taking my photograph, you always make me look horrible" ever since then it was agreed I would not take a photograph her pulling faces at me and she would pose for one picture at public events like this one, She is now unhappy because the council is complying with two freedom of information requests. First is a break down of her monthly expenses of £250 a time, this month there is two payments of the same amount on the schedule of payments. The second is a request for a break down of the full cost of the private civic service and party she held last week. Her husband clearly would rather stop asking how she is wasting tax payers money. He accused me of stalking and threatened me with continued harassment. They must be lost with out their old chum Inspector Monks. After her party paid for by the tax payer she was quoted in the Rutland Times as saying "It was a good day for her and her family and the people of Oakham" I can't work out how this was a good thing for the people of Oakham as none outside her family or circle of friends were invited.
I told a well known local photographer and former Mayor Jim Harrison about her complaint and her suggestion I made her look horrible, his response was "it's not the fault of the photographer"
Here is a link to another photographers photo set of the party.

I hope the local tax payers appreciate the photographs of Councillors & their Friends and Family enjoy plenty of free food, booze and cake "all for the good of Oakham"
