Although the Rutland Mercury tell us Mr Wills is a parent mention he is also a
Director (SALES MANAGER) in company CASTERTON BUSINESS AND ENTERPRISE COLLEGE ACADEMY TRUST
so as sale manager I would expect him to be biased
I would say this article written by a level headed parent governor Neil Wills
will help stoke the "bad-tempered feud" involving The Academy Trust of
Casterton and Business Enterprise College, Rutland County College,
Catmose College and Uppingham Community College.
I sat in a some of the meetings at Rutland County Council and watched the
battle for post 16 education in Rutland.
Mr Wills and his colleges only won because Rutland County Council had
no other choice, Tresham had given the Tory council a deadline to proceed
with its plan, because it was pulling out of Rutland and was not bothered
if it left Rutland with no post 16 education the following term.

The Tory Councillor responsible for the mess departed along with her
husband also a Tory Councillor. Upon leaving he told the whole council
both he and his wife would rather work for President Robert Mugabe
than Tory Leader Roger Begy.
Of course these days Roger in is twilight years is more like Bag Puss, than Robert.
It's his deputy and CEO you have to be aware of.
Mr Wills has previously written about interesting matters:
May 2013
I took my cycling proficiency test about 50 years ago and my driving test in 1973. At that time the Highway Code required all cyclists to cycle in single file on the roads.
Can anyone tell me, please, has it been rewritten since that time to allow cyclists to ride in packs or two or three abreast, regardless of other road users’ convenience and safety?
If so, I recommend the Government changes it back again and enforces it strictly before giving any further consideration to the constant clamour of the cycling fraternity for special consideration when traffic planning.
Otherwise, I can see it will not just be animal carcases littering our country lanes this summer.

Bit fragile this morning. Lovely evening with neighbours at their house last night (The Grange, no less). Oh yes, sophisticated company is so liberating. We discussed many things ranging from Soviet art, history and European culture, Ruth's horses and Robert's busy business life. I like to think I held up my side of the conversation with the subject of "Dave the bastard" - the nuisance cat from down our end. :0
You knowhen you've got stuff on your mind and unfortunately you have a job where you face the public? Let's say for example you are on the checkout at Oakham Co-op. Why do annoying old twats (like the one pictured) try to engage with you, joking about the ongoing thunderstorm and boring you senseless with idle chatter cos they've no-one else to plague! Get a bloody job mate! I've even seen you in Wilko's doin' it!
(I am told Mr Wills is referring to himself and the photograph is him, I am also told many who
have read his article would not disagree with his observation)
I've been out kissing my new car goodnight
Shania Twain would say "I can't believe you kiss your car good night"
Before I forget will Mr Wills any news about the text message incident
