Rutland County Council Agree to provide 5 bed homeless accommodation for young people at Pinewood

Jules in Melton Road is also to be moved into the building vacated by Spire Homes.
The Jules building in Melton Road is rented from a family for a peppercorn rent.
With agreement with the family the council is to help them sell the building and the money
transferred to the council to fund the homeless project.
Its a good start for far too long this council has dumped its homeless on other authorities.
Its a great pity they are still not doing anything to provide help to older members of our community.
Cllr Walters was concerned that the young people have nothing to do accept visiting the off licence
across the road, silly man they will follow him to a supermarket where its cheaper.
