Leicestershire Fire & rescue were called Robin Crescent in Melton Mowbray at 3.20am
Two people have been arrested after fire badly damages Melton Mowbray home.
Robin Crescent was in the news in December 2011 former Leicestershire police inspector Tobias Day, his wife Sam lived there.
