Rutland Couty Council is planning to be responsible for young homeless people in Oakham

Rutland Couty Council is planning to be responsible for young
homeless people in Oakham instead of ignoring the problem
and kicking them out of the county and letting other councils
pick up the bill.

It is also planning to move Jules youth club into the same location
shown above.

The current Jules Youth Club building is rented to Rutland County
Council for a token rent in memory of a resident who died. The council has
asked the family to sell the property and hand over the cash to run
this project. I wonder what will happen when  that money runs outs.

It will be good to see the property owned by the council used. It has
remained empty since Spire Homes moved out. Before their use
I am told it was an old peoples home run by the council, old people
went in the front door and were never seen again. I assume they departed by
the back door. I am also told the building is haunted!
