Oakham Town Council Will no longer pay for Green Flag Award
This evening Oakham Town Council decided it would no longer pay for its pointless Green Flag
award for Cutts Close.
After wasting thousands on purchasing a ugly flag pole and the required fees it has decided to
no longer waste £307 a year.
I guess its because the local paper failed to mention the flag this year.
