Councillor Alf Dewis Personal attack ? Memorial Tree, Jubilee Oak

This morning  I posted the article below, since posting an Oakham Town Councillor has told me he has been
told I have posted an offennsive post, personally attacking Cllr Dewis.

If Councillors like Dewis who is also the self appointed chairman of the Oakham Town Parternership find criticism of their actions personal then maybe it's time for them go.

The Cllr I spoke with, said he often agreed with quite a lot I say, but back to the old story he said "I would get his full support if I stopped the blog for at least a year, I wonder who put him up to that?

Interestingly he said I was very well known all over the place even at the radio station and then added for all the wrong reasons.

I am not sure of the percentage, but I am sure more people know me for all the right reasons. Possibly
51%

As for the post I stick by it, if anyone else had wanted to plant a memorial tree in Cutts Close they would have received a bill to cover the planting and the associated English Heritage Fees.

As more flowers arrived today at the foot of the tree, I repeat Cutts Close is a public park not a grave yard.
Maybe Cllr Dewis can adopt one of his Jubillee Oaks planted in the nearby church yard?

This is not an attack on his family it's not their fault the Cllr decided to use his position to obtain a good deal.

They don't know what personal attaks are, I do because I have been subjected to the most disgusting attacks by Councillors like Charles Haworth who sent me the most offensive and obscene messages about my partner who died.

It would be offensive if I posted comments or suggestions of the same nature suggesting Murder and Necrophilia all of which Councillors have accussed me of.

I mentioned Rutland County Council lack of interest in councillors standards and the Cllr told me only when the complaint comes from you, of course I knew this but its still shocking that a Cllr is willing to state this.

Oakham Town Councillor Alf Dewis Turning Cutts Close into cheap grave yard for his family

Oakham  Town Councillor Alf  Dewis Turning Cutts Close into cheap grave yard for his family

last year Cllr Alf Dewis former Oakham Mayor and Chairman of Oakham Town Partnership sold
off the remaining 2012 Jubilee Oaks to Oakham Town Council. These have been planted in Cutts
Close Oakham against the wishes of the then tree warden Cllr Joyce Lucas. she said "Oak Trees are not suitable for Oakham" before her resignation as tree warden she also accussed Rutland County Council of stripping the town naked of trees using John Street Bus shelter works as an example.

Cllr Dewis purchased one of the trees for £60 this was planted at considerable cost for the tax payer.
planting and english heritage cost for the one tree amounted to three times the cost of the tree.

Rutland County Council standards say he has done nothing wrong.

The tax payer paid a considerable sum towards his families memorial.

A elderly resident seeing the flowers yesterday said how sad who has been killed.

Fortunatley no one has been killed it's just Cllr Dewis doing something on the cheap
Cutts Close is not a grave yard and I hope Oakham Town Council remove the flowers
soon.
