Apethorpe Open Village and Open Gardens at Apethorpe Hall

Apethorpe Open Village and Open Gardens at Apethorpe Hall

Saturday June 21st

Apethorpe Hall Garden and Grounds Open for one day only

Our small East Northants village of Apethorpe is struggling to raise funds to keep its local church in good physical shape. On 21st June we are holding an Open Village Day with unique access to the Garden and Grounds of Apethorpe Hall (thanks to English Heritage), the Manor House gardens and Open Gardens in the rest of the village. The Red Kites, now native dwellers in the village, will be swooping in and there will be everything from sand pits for the kids to an organ recital in the church plus a talk on our village history for the more grown up visitor. (oh and the pub will be open all day). Any help you can give to promoting our efforts will be most gratefully received.

Without a church and a pub a village is just a collection of houses in the countryside. Help us support St Leonard’s, one of those great traditions in our village.
