Oakham School Prom 2014 Fireworks
I quite like the annual free firework display.
Many residents find Oakham School a inconsiderate neighbor with firework displays throughout the year.
The music noise has never been as bad as it was in 2009, This is helped I am told by the introduction of silent disco's, were participants wear headphones throughout the night.
The fireworks mark a warning that the annual summer school is about to to start often those visiting pupils enjoy the freedom of Oakham a little more than the resident pupils who are off on their holiday's.
