Extonbury 2014

The 8th Extonbury Rock & Folk Festival will take place on Saturday 5 July in the paddock at the rear of the Fox & Hounds Public House, Exton. A truly family friendly festival with craft and food stalls including Pick’s Organic Farm barbecue, Kiddie’s artisan ice creams and superb beers from Walter at the Fox & Hounds. All this and music too! Once again we have ten great bands:
McGoo – stomping Irish folk
Reckless – irrepressible pop & rock
Laughton’s Last Stand with Cupid’s Inspiration – a very special set of sixties hits. You really don’t want to miss this!
Triple 7 – hard rocking band with huge vocals
The Lounge – carefully crafted sounds of Hendrix and more.
Out Of The Blue – no other acoustic band can rock like these guys.
The Extones – Exton’s own band with the best in blues, pop & rock
Inferno – eleven piece funk / soul band bring you the Motown & Stax sound
Tres Hombres – exciting & dynamic three piece blues/rock outfit
The Silver Threetles – Leicestershire’s best Beatles tribute and this year’s headliners.
Throughout the day there will be a raffle for some great prizes, and auctions for a hot air balloon flight and a catamaran sailing experience on Rutland Water. All net proceeds will go to Cancer Research UK, Prostate Cancer UK and local causes. Tickets are just £10 with children 12 and under free.
