Stamford’s first Festival of Fun

Stamford Festival of Fun



Stamford’s first Festival of Fun will open its gates on Saturday
26 July for 9 days bringing a calendar of family activities to
enjoy.



This event will entertain while helping to raise money for
various charities, so a small entry fee of £1.00 will be applied.

All visitors will have the chance to have a free face painting
session; join in craft making, competitions, messy play, there is
a wealth of activities hosted during themed days with visits
throughout the week by some of children’s most popular TV
characters. There will be a large sand pit for the whole family to
experience.

The programme is packed with excellent themed days which
include a number of exciting displays such as rescue day with
Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue, Police and medics bringing various
equipment to enable visitors to experience, interact and learn
some new skills. There will also be a visit by the Road Safety
simulator, family sized fairground rides, dunk tank circus skills,
military days, charity tug of war and live musical performances
bands creating a party atmosphere.

Please be aware a strict no alcohol policy will be enforced, for
the safety of all visitors.

This entire event is family orientated
with something on offer for people of all ages.

This is Stamford’s first Festival of Fun and it is hoped that this
amazing occasion may develop year on year.

It is hoped you will be able to join
with us in the merriment during the day.

The Town Meadows has good access points and there is always FREE car parking
facilities in Stamford on Sundays making the town centre easily
accessible.

There will be plenty to see and do so come along.
