Join us bright and early for a bird ringing demonstration with the Reserve Officers Martin and Lloyd.
You will join them at Fieldfare hide where they will be netting, ringing and releasing a variety of birds. A great opportunity to get a close up look at some familiar species, as well as some you won’t see in your own garden.
The demonstration will include a talk about bird ringing, how and why it is done, over a hot drink and some biscuits.
Meet at the Anglian Water Birdwatching Centre at 7.30 am. Booking Essential.
£8 per person or £4 for annual permit holders.
Please note – in the unfortunate event of very wet or windy conditions, birds cannot be ringed for their own safety. If this were to occur we would get in touch with you to reschedule as soon as possible.
