Greetham Road Closure - October 2014
Greetham Road (B668) is to close between Cottesmore and Greetham until the end of October to allow important maintenance work to take place.
The work will be carried out in three phases, with diversions in place when the road is closed.
There will also be temporary changes to the bus services in the area for the duration of the road closure:
Monday 20th October – Friday 24th October 2014
Road closed. The Rutland Flyer 2 bus service will operate to its normal timetable this week but will operate via a small diversion and there may be possible short delays for this five-day period. The B668 will reopen over the weekend.
Monday 27th October – Friday 31st October 2014
Road closed. The Rutland Flyer 2 bus service will omit Greetham village from its timetable and route. Passengers from Greetham will have access to a free shuttle bus which will link them with the main bus service at Market Overton village.
The timetable for this free shuttle service can be viewed at bus stops along the route and Oakham Bus Station. Copies can also be obtained from Rutland Flyer buses, all Rutland libraries or on request by emailing: transport@rutlandgov.uk
Two-way traffic controls will be in place along the B668 on Monday 3rd and Tuesday 4th November as road markings are applied. However, buses will operate their normal timetable.
