Notice is hereby given
Pursuant to Section 87(2) of the Local Government Act 1972, that
following the RESIGNATION OF MR CHARLES HAWORTH,
at long last a vacancy now exists in the office of Councillor for the
North West Ward of Oakham Town Council.
If by 18th November 2014 (14 days' after the date of this Notice) a
request for an election to fill the said vacancy is made in writing to
the Returning Officer at Catmose, Oakham, Rutland, LE15 6HP by
TEN electors for the said Ward, an election will b held to fill the
said vacancy otherwise the vacancy will be filled by co-option.
If an election is held, it will take place not later than 27th January
2015
