Police have named a 29-year-old woman killed in a road accident in Rutland yesterday.
Michelle Maria Davies, who lived in Melton, had been travelling along the A606 between Oakham and Melton, when her car was involved in a collision with a lorry at about midday.
Police are appealing to witnesses who saw the crash or saw the red Volvo lorry or Ms Davies's red Mazda Premacy before the collision.
Detective Constable Paul Bingham, who is investigating the incident, said: “We are appealing for witnesses who saw the collision to please come forward. In particular, we would like to speak to anyone who attended the scene and have not yet given details to the police.
“We would also like to speak with anyone who saw either vehicle just before the collision.”
