The recently issued Summer 2014 edition of The Old Oakhamian reported the death of Mr CPJ (Christopher) Holland in error (page 114 and 116).
We would like to make it clear that Mr CPJ Holland is very much alive and well.
We apologise unreservedly to him and his family for this unfortunate mistake and for any distress caused.
Mr CPJ Holland has also pointed out that his correct leaving year was 1984.
In addition we would like to extend this apology to the family of Mr CJ (Christopher John) Holland (53), who passed away in August 2014.
The correct notice of Mr CJ Holland’s death will appear in the next issue of The Old Oakhamian.
