Cancer Research Shop Oakham Rutland Donated Items Dumped so visibly
I often wonder why Cancer Research don't hide their continuous waste of donated
items. I am guessing they don't care what people think. They did not care much when
the spent £20,000 turning the Oakham branch into a over priced boutique last year.
That venture failed and the store returned to the normal charity shop format.
Each week bags of perfectly good items are binned, just because they don't sell
in the the time allocated.
I wonder if the waste would reduce if the shop did not price items so high in the first place?
I have often looked at the price of second hand mens clothes, most are priced higher than
what is available new on Melton Market.
