Rutland County Council Part Five Meeting 12th January 2015
This part of the video shows why it's not wise to employ an unqualified Chief Executive
with a team of unqualified staff, like the monitoring officer.
Despite an experienced Councillor kindly pointing out the obvious, correct direction.
There were extremely long delays throughout the rest of the meeting.
They failed to vote on an amendment so I doubt if the final outcome is lawful.
I suggest the Chief Executive Helen Briggs does some work or training instead of frequently
walking around town, Tweeting and playing games on the council mobile.
And when will the council employ a monitoring officer who has more than a basic
local government accounting qualification, I assume these days that is worth more
than Helen Briggs cooking qualification.
