2015 Elections Event For Prospective Candidates
County Council or Parish Council elections on 7th May 2015
Rutland County Council is offering prospective Parish and County Councillor candidates the chance to learn more about the process of standing for election.
Tuesday 24 February 2015
The open event will be held at the Council’s Catmose offices in Oakham, 6pm on 24th February.
There will be information about the timelines and procedures that need to be followed in order to stand for election, as well as guidance around the nomination process and qualification requirements.
This event is free to attend and open to anyone.

The Chief Executive is looking particularly hard for Conservative candidates.
It is said Rutland and Melton Conservative are heading the same way as Labour here
in Rutland. People are apparently not to keen to join the Rutland Tories.
Due to the conduct of the Chief Executive and the Tories teams conduct.
