Oakham Town Council Planning application approved because Cllr Stan Stubbs said it would improve value of Cllr Adam Lowes House

Oakham Town Council Planning application approved because Cllr Stan Stubbs said it would improve value of Cllr Adam Lowes House.

Video to follow

At this evenings parks and planning meeting Oakham Town Council considered a
planning application from Cllr Adam Lowes next door neighbour.

Although Cllr Lowe declared his obvious interest. He spoke for some considerable
time about the application telling member the new building extension would
be a great improvement describing the current extension as shanty town style building.
which does not have planning permission.

Cllr Stubbs said the new building would add value to Cllr Lowes property.
I guess that is a planning consideration down south.

He often refers to the way they do things down south referring to his time as a dodgy
parish councillor. All the standards findings are widely publish in the local media
down south he constantly says its a all lies.

He also constantly pesters the assistant clerk to allow him to sign the minutes of the
previous meeting before the meeting because "that is what we did down south to
save time" Fortunately the assistant Clerk is not stupid and tells him people might
like to make corrections or additions at the appropriate time of the meeting.

It's a great shame the bully does not go back down south.

Cllr Lowe, Cllr Guthrie and Cllr Walters abstained from voting.

Cllr Walters asked for his abstention to be recording.

Cllr Stubbs would probably says he was not being serious, then I would say
he is unfit to be a councillor, he claims to understand the quasi judicial position
of the council when it comes to considering planning matters if he did then
he would know the serious consequences for a decision made based on
financial gain by a Councillor.
