Rutland County Council Freeze Council Tax For The Agreed Five Years

Rutland County Council Freeze Council Tax For The Agreed Five Years

Still the highest tax in England and the Conservative council think its
time to celebrate.

There is nothing to celebrate, Job Cuts and cuts to many essential services.

Embarrassing 15 minute care slot for the elderly and many charitable
community organisation lost all or half their grants.

An overpaid Tory led incompetent management team.

What will happen when the government stops the grant scheme?

With an ageing growing population in Rutland I predict a disaster
is heading towards Rutland County Council.

I look forward to seeing the front page of this week Rutland Times
perhaps a edited repeat of last years article giving the impression
the Tories locally have done something good by freezing the council
tax for five years.

Of course when council tax bills arrive here in Oakham people
will see an increase, due to the Police and the Fire Authority
and not forgetting Oakham Town Council who demand an increase
for no apparent reason.
