Cllr Terry King Rutland County Council Respond to Cllr Richard Gales Rutland Times Letter Primary Schools

Cllr Terry King (Tory) Rutland County Council Respond to Cllr Richard Gale's (ind) Rutland Times Letter

Last week Cllr Richard Gale (ind) wrote a letter asking publicly a question of the Conservative
leadership.

Cllr Terry King has responded with a long boring letter finishing with a comment relating to
Cllr Richard Gales question.

Not long ago I sat in at a planning meeting when a application
from Hawksmead Larkfleet Homes was being considered
present in the pubic gallery were members of their staff,
current and retired.

I previously posted one of their comments. Hawksmead did
offer to pay for a school, medical centre and community
hub. Rutland County Council decided a cash option was
better, for who I don't know. What we do know is Cllr King
is overseeing 106 contributions meant for Oakham are
spent outside Oakham with most pouring into the former
prison known as Oakham Business and Enterprise Park.

The name is a joke most of the companies already existed
and have just relocated a large percentage are sports and
fitness based.

One new job has been created in over a year. This
was advertised via the enterprise park twitter account,

We also know Hawksmead Larkfleet were going to
build a new community hub in Oakham for £1 million
Rutland County Council persuaded them to build a
smaller one and give them cash to spend outside
Oakham on the former prison.

Accounts for the Oakham Enterprise Park show
a shocking sum of money is poured into and budgets
increased when needed by the Tory Cabinet.

Accounts also show tenants don't pay service
charges due to a long list of failings.

As Rutland County Council has done all these
deals with Hawksmead Larkfleet Homes I think
Mr King is correct they are not going to now
build a free school or send him any more cheques

The Conservatives Led by Mrs Briggs, Roger Begy
and Terry King have failed Rutland from the
cradle to the grave.

Poor Primary Schools

Lack of School Spaces

Over Stretched Medical Centres

Very Poor 15 minute care of the elderly and vulnerable

Poor Post 16 Education

No Jobs

A very neglected cemetery where they continually upset
family by burring people in the wrong graves resulting
in digging bodies up in the middle of the night.

All this value for the highest Council Tax in England
