Cllr Alan Walters Rutland County Council Rutland Times Letter Oakham Town Council
Cllr Walters appears to want the same as i do for our community he also
questions the councils role and even the need for a town council.
He even challenges the Town Partnership Cllr Alf Dewis's Club.
It is a shame Cllr Walters has backed away from a challenge.
Cllr Alan Walters Resigned From Oakham Town Council two days ago.
This has been confirmed by Oakham Town Council, this afternoon.
Mr Walters has written a letter to the Rutland Times published today.
A current Town Councillor accuses him of making unfounded deluded
allegations against Oakham Town Council and even suggests he
has teamed up with the anti corruption group and states Mr Walters
is more corrupt than you think.
I find it extraordinary, how every critic of our town council is described
in this manner.
When will change happen?
The Bullies like Cllrs Alf Dewis and Stan Stubs need removing.
They are not interested in serving our community they are
Councillors purely for egotistic reasons.
My letter sent to the Rutland Times.
I fully agree with Cllr Walters opinion.
letter 23rd April 2015.
Regarding Oakham Town Council.
I am currently elected unopposed
to the town council council as are
all other Councillors, I would
like state my reason for wanting to
serve our community.
I fully support the proposed
move to Princess Avenue to
include a community hub and
youth club.
I am not sure if it is correct
to create a role for the town
council, but I feel the above
plan does just that.
I would hope the three unfilled
vacancies are filled as soon
as possible by equally publicly
minded candidates and perhaps
members of the younger
community.
