John Park Conservative Candidate Oakham South East Rutland County Council Elections
Via Twitter today I noticed Dr Park has made public comments
relating to his twitter activity.
"I've made no secret that I am deliberately provocative on Twitter to
encourage discussion of difficult issues."
I don't personally have a problem with Dr Park the problem I have is how
his colourful language conflicts with the high expectations of those who serve in
public office. He correctly says I don't know him, I can only judge if he
if worthy of my vote by looking at his public profile on sites like Twitter
and then rather daflty he suggests that is stalking.
I can also say Dr Park does not know me, but he takes to Twitter and
describes me as a person who is against all Tories and a conspiracist.
Not true I get on with quite a few Tories mainly those who treat people
with the basic respect anyone should expect from another human being.
Recently I have had some interesting chats with a Tory Councillor the
son of the local Tory Chairman.
Then there is our MP Alan Duncan who has never behaved like the
a few of the old Tories on Rutland County Council.
Tories are mainly very moralistic and those in my experience who tend to
behave like this do so in secret. During campains of bullying and intimidation,
and if they fear losing power as pointed out by the Lib Dem leader recently
durring a TV interview. This was they case in 2011 when I stood against
the Tory Leader Roger Begy, the annonomous campaign against me then
was most foul.
So I find it somewhat shocking to see a Tory like Dr Park an educated man
publicly use words such as "fuck off" "Piss Off" and "Bastard" to name
just a few used.
Is it not the same as a poor comdian who resort to obtain laughs buy resorting
to using expletives?
Dr Park teaches or does his dictate?

I remember the days when having strong opinions and stating them out loud was seen as a positive thing.
I wonder if Dr Park happened to be listening to Rutland Radio this morning
each Sunday they broadcast a short moment of reflection.
This mornings came from the Rev File. Who finished by saying if you are speaking the
truth you don't need to shout it.
Going back to Dr Parks use of colourful langague.
I and many were brought up that this was unacceptable. I remember at School being
overheard by the deputy head Mr Whitmore calling another boy who had hit me a bastard in front
of his wife. As he dragged me to the heads office hitting the back of my head he
expressed his disgust of my use of poor langauge in front of his wife.
Strangely Dr Park feels he is being attacked, because I and others politely point out his twitter activity. I wonder how he would feel if he was receiving letters addressing him as Peado for
simple critising the local councils? I won't repeat a list all of all the other activities that have
accured over the last 5 years. But I sometimes I think they could justifiably be described as attacks.
The Tories forced through over 41 standards complaints against me due to my reaction
to their attacks often compplaining about words I used on this blog none as offensive as
those used by Dr Park.
Fortunately in the end a judge decided they were wrong in most cases.
Then there was the mainly Tory and Police court case against me. which cost the tax payers
over half a million pounds.
That is an attack against someone Dr Park
I also have the right to say I don't wan't you as my local councillor.
I wonder if you have really thought about you committment to the role.
I can see from your public twitte, you teach in Scotland often for long
period of times. If elceted I can only assume you attendance record
is going to be fairly poor, Which could lead to disqualification.
