Cllr Adam Lowe Former Oakham Mayor and Leicestershire Police Special Constable Broke the Law
Whilst Cllr Lowe was a Special Constable with Leicestershire Police when he first became a
Town Councillor.
Councillor Lowe has also been a party worker for the Conservatives whilst he was a serving
Special Constable Ignoring this law:
Police officers as canvassers
Members of a police force are not allowed to
canvass and would be committing an offence if
they did. Members of a police force may not
persuade any person to vote or dissuade them
from voting.
