Damon Jonah Kelly Black Hermit Monk who posted allegedly homophobic leaflets appeared in court to face a harassment charge.

He appeared at Leicester Magistrates court he pleaded not guilty to the charge.

His alleged victims have since left Leicester and moved to the United States of America.

They are expected to give evidence against Mr Kelly via video link during a two-day trial at the magistrates' court on Thursday and Friday, July 30 and 31

It is alleged Mr Kelly is responsible for a national leaflet campaign which has caused some
offence in small places like Market Harborough in Leicestershire and further away Brighton.

Last year a number of police forces including Leicestershire decided not to prosecute
Mr Kelly.

Personally I don't have a problem with the leaflets but I would have a problem if
Mr Kelly kept appearing on my doorstep.
