Cllr David Brown Resigns from Uppingham Town Council

Cllr David Brown Resigns from Uppingham Town Council

A Councillor for less than a month has resigned.

Uppingham Town Council had a contested election, one too many stood for the number of
available seats.

The vote was one of the most difficult and time consuming to count.

I wonder why Uppingham is not split into wards like Oakham.

Will a election be called or will someone wait for co-option.

Following the resignation of Mr David Brown there is a casual vacancy on Uppingham Town Council.
