Oakham Town Council will be bestowing the Freedom of Entry to Oakham to E (Leicestershire And Derbyshire Yeomanry) Squadron.

Freedom of Entry

On Sunday June 14th 2015

Oakham Town Council will be bestowing the Freedom of Entry to Oakham to
E (Leicestershire And Derbyshire Yeomanry) Squadron.

The afternoon's ceremonies will be as follows (all timings are approximate)

2.30pm – Church Service at 2.30pm, for 45 minutes at All Saints Church, Oakham.
The public are welcome to attend.

3.15pm - The congregation will leave the church on to Church Street. Personnel from E (Leicestershire And Derbyshire Yeomanry) Squadron will then form up on Church street,
march down Church Street to the High Street and turn left.

It will then turn left again into the Market Place.

3.45pm - Inspection of the parade by the Lord Lieutenant of Rutland,

Major Matthew Edwards,

Lieutenant General Edwards and the Deputy Mayor of Oakham.

There will then be a formal reading of the Scroll and presentation to
E (Leicestershire And Derbyshire Yeomanry) Squadron.

4.00pm - The parade will march off of the Market Place and turn left. It will continue to the Rutland County Council Offices at Catmose where it will then be dismissed.
