Oakham Town Council Planning Sub Committee 7th July 2015
This was my first planning sub committee meeting, it took about 42 minutes.
I have not got a clue about planning and I did wake up after the minutes were
approved!
Another Councillor had not looked at the plans we had to consider because
they had "been busy with Oakham in Bloom"
Cllr Vince Howard was a good chairman a lot better than the Chairman
of the main council meetings Cllr Dewis.
Cllr Blanksby felt the meeting went on for too long. I disagree the three of us
gave the necessary time the applications required.
In the past the committee has ended its meetings in less than ten
minutes.
