High Street in Oakham is re-opened after a young boy was hit by a car
The road is closed between Church Street and Mill Street while police
investigate the incident.
The boy is understood to be only 3 years old
The elderly driver failed to remain at the scene.
The boy was taken to Peterborough City Hospital
Witnesses are asked to call Leicestershire police on 101
quoting incident 353 of August 3
