Joel Condron aged 9 is walking to London from Oakham to raise cash for
Save the Children Refugee Appeal

Joel Condron, from Oakham, will set off on October 24 with his dad a tent and toothbrush

They are hoping to raise £5,000 for Save the Children - a global charity which provides
disaster relief for youngsters around the world.

Joel is Oakham CofE Primary School pupil and has already raised more than £500 from
a JustGiving webpage which he set up earlier this week.

The route

Our itinerary with approximate arrival times and a map of the route we will be taking is shown below. We will be going through lots of towns and villages. The places marked in bold are where we'll be hoping to find somewhere to pitch our tent for the night:
