Rutland County Council really need to find a new printer Electors Household Enquiry Form Errors

Rutland County Council really need to find a new printer.

Every election for at least the last 10 years there has been some sort
of error blamed on printers.

Personally I think this is a poor excuse surely someone at Rutland County
Council prepares and checks artwork.

At this years election a number of postal vote pack contained 'printing errors'

This month every household has been sent a electors Household Enquiry Form
with a printing error.

A tick in a box indicating everyone wants to be included in the open register.

Some people who have contacted RCC about this have been told to use
the phone service or on-line

I used on-line to confirm the details and it seems to work fine.

A letter from a resident in today's Rutland Times says the phone system
does not work.

I spoke to Rutland County Council about my form and they say
those who have previously asked not to be included in the open register
won't be included in the new register. They said the printed tick won't
be accepted as agreeing to be placed in the new open register.

I recommend all those who can use the online system where amendments
can be made.
