Dear OTC
I have read the Clerks report and I am very concerned by his quoted contribution figures.
Currently the council has not complied with the law and has not enrolled staff in any
scheme within the required three months required in law.
The reason I am concerned about the clerks figures is they appear to be inflated.
As council we are only currently required to contribute a min of 1% not 23% as stated in
the Clerks report.
This figure needs to be broken down to show the contribution and the cost of the scheme.

We have not been provided with the full accurate facts.
There is no mention of the salary sacrifice scheme.
The Clerk has only presented the council with only one pension company option.
Can I request the council seeks immediate independent advice.
I consider it a serious conflict of interest that the Clerk is being asked to arrange
this benefit.
