According to a Rutland County Councillor "there are no gay people here in Rutland"
This week I received an email from a employee of the LGBT centre in Leicester.
Part of the email expressed some frustration experience whilst dealing with Rutland
County Council.
The LGBT centre has been trying to organise a project based here in Rutland and
due to major staff changes at Rutland County Council the LGBT centre has not
been able to find the person who can assist them with their project.
The email referred to a comment made by a Rutland County Councillor.
"There are no gay people living here in Rutland"
