Officers searching for Kayleigh find a body

Officers searching for missing teenager Kayleigh Haywood have discovered a body in a field in Ibstock.
The body was found shortly after 10pm tonight (18 November).
Formal identification has not yet taken place. Kayleigh’s family have been informed of the discovery.
Kayleigh, from Measham, was last seen by her family at about 6pm on Friday 13 November, when she was dropped off outside Ibstock Community College, in Central Avenue.
Chief Superintendent David Sandall, Head of Crime, said: “Tonight, we have discovered a body in a field. While formal identification has yet to take place, Kayleigh’s family are aware of the discovery and enquiries are continuing.”
Two men, aged 27 and 28, remain in police custody arrested on suspicion of murder.
