A giant traditional street party is being planned for afternoon of Sunday 12th June 2016
I am pleased to be helping Jasmine, Pippy an Michelle organise this community event
with others as time progresses. We hope this event will compliment other events
to be held in the town on the same day.
Yesterday the Street Party group met and we agreed there will be a public meeting at Victoria Hall in two weeks times, further details to follow, We will invite all to attend to offer ideas, time and talents Jasmine Luyu Hopkins will be creating a facebook events page to keep everyone updated, there is a twitter account https://twitter.com/OakhamHM90Party

We are also looking for sponsorship, all finances will be handled by the trustees of Oakham Festival,
We are not looking for large amounts of sponsorship for example £10 buys 100 flags for people to wave if they wish to do so.
