Ex Oakham Mayor Paul Beech accusation of Anti Establishment?

Ex Oakham Mayor Paul Beech accusation of Anti Establishment?

Mr Beech is clearly ignoring the facts as a Councillor I simply pointed out his
friend Alf Dewis was breaking the law and this has been proved by Auditors
Grant Thornton. I won't argue with Mr Beech because he can become very unpleasant.

What I will point out is I and other Town Councillors seek for further improvements
at Oakham Town Council and I most certainly won't be intimated by the old establishment
figures associated with Mr Beech.

As a Cllr I have a duty as do all Cllrs to look after taxpayers money and I will continue to
do so even if that displeases Mr Beech and his small army of friends.

Why does he not set up a toy soldier club?

Paul Beech I don't see why this is posted on the incorrect page. It is for 'What Oakham Needs' and for sure this is what we need, all for one and one for all surely. All this anti establishment stuff is non-productive and doesn't help when there are loads of positive things happening this year that involves the town council. And Kate the agenda on the town council for next week has, yet again, an item that is divisive and will only bring the town into disrepute - and for what? We need a cohesive and constructive council without the back stabbing that goes on now. Sorry if I get emotional about nthis but I don't like to unfairness in any forum or organisation.

Martin Brookes Paul Beech since when has it been anti establishment for a Councillor to want a Council that operates within the law?
