May Fun Fair Cutts Close Oakham Rutland Cancelled Due to Rain and Concern for Grass
Posters for this weekends bank holiday fun fair have been removed.
It was decided the grass was to wet.
Since a former Mayors wife wrote to the local paper, complaining about the circus
knocking tent pegs into the ground and asking why the council wont let the hunt use
the park on Boxing Day, the council has asked users to be careful not to damage
the grass. The fun fair felt they could not guarantee there would be no damage.
Its a shame no one can get Cllr Lucas to understand that the daft green flag
she is asking us to pay for, forbids cars in the park.
