The other site to be built on by McCarthy and Stone is the Former Lonsdale
House Site. Completely stripped of all its large healthy trees, despite the
many stumps and fresh wood chippings a Rutland County Council planning
officer wrote and said they could see no evidence of tree felling on the site.
