Philippa Massey Talk: Stamford's Courts and Yards
Thursday, April 7th
The courts and yards were tightly-packed housing, often tucked away down little alleys and behind the main streets of the town. They were generally built to provide dwellings for the working class, and an income for their owners, but also for other reasons. Philippa takes a look at them and how they have changed.
7.30pm in the Theatre. Tickets for reserved seating, £5 (£4.50 concessions),
available from the box office.
