Accounts Question For Next Oakham Town council Meeting
Since Grant Thornton gave Oakham Town Council a qualified audit report, the
council has refused to present the report to full council for consideration, comment
and recommendations.
The report is available on-line. It serves little purpose if the council is just going to
ignore its content.
The report saw the downfall of the Mayor.
I will be asking the following question at next Wednesdays meeting
Please can the council explain why it is not complying with audit and regulation requirements and
not presenting Grant Thornton's 2014 -2015 Audit report to full council for consideration, comment and recommendations?
