Peterborough Conservatives Lost control of Peterborough City Council for a few hours today.
The Conservatives took control of the City Council after the recent election, only just
by one seat.
Today it was announced the Conservatives had lost control after Councillor Gul Zawaz
resigned from the Conservatives and had become an Independent.
Councillor Gul Zawaz has this afternoon conducted a U turn and rejoined the Conservatives
I assume David Cameron gave Peterborough Conservatives advice on U turns during his
recent garden visit.
