A weekend of remembrance
Fri 7.30pm: - Whistle signal and remembrance candle lighting at the village war memorial
Sat & Sun: 10.30am-4pm: - Somme Campaign Exhibition with village soldier stories at the village hall
Sun 10.15-4pm: Campaign Commemoration Day - service at 10.30am at the war memorial, 11.15am - Exhibition opens, 11.30am - Tiger moth flypast Midday - soup kitchen opens. Entertainment and activities through the day: Stamford Brass, WW1 re-enactment, machine gun post, army cadet tent in the Blue Bell.
Sunday road closures around High Street/Porters Lane/Westfields/West St - top of Church St closed 10am-midday
