Green Flag Tidy Britain award Oakham Town Council Cutts Close Oakham Rutland Why?
Oakham Town Council after a break of a few years decided to pay once again to enter
the green flag awards scheme.
Every evening I walk through the park and wonder why we are awarded the flag.
The council does pay Cory to pick up litter each morning but as the day progresses
the park fills with litter. The better the weather the worse it gets.
The photographs on this post were taken on Wednesday evening this week.
The cost of the Green Flag award runs into the hundreds of pounds and is a total
waste of money.
