Oakham Town Council Wins Keep Britain Tidy Green Flag Award 2016 For Cutts Close Oakham

Oakham  Town Council has once again started wasting local tax payer money by paying
hundreds of pounds to win the Green Flag.

The Council refrained from this pointless spending a couple of years ago, unfortunately they
gave into Cllr Lucas's nagging towards the end of last year.

I heard we are to receive the costly green flag on Rutland Radio News this weekend.

I describe it as pointless because if the judges actually visited giving no notice at the end
of a sunny day, I am sure they would enjoy their tour through the litter dump. Which is fortunately
cleaned early each morning.
